These small paintings are painted with acrylic paint  on vinyl wallpaper samples which were passed on to me by and architect who was cleaning out his studio.I have had them for awhile. In 2020 when I moved back to my studio after the quarantine . I decided I could not have anyone in  my studio for safety reasons. My studio has a large multi-paned window that looks out on a large sculpture of a bowler hat. The hat statue is located off of highway 30 in the Cedars neighborhood of Dallas Texas.These vinyl wallpaper samples fit perfectly in the panes of the window. Each painting has a woman and a window . Most of the paintings have black cat and the hat sculpture. During the Annual Cedars Open Studio I put the paintings in the widow panes from the inside of my studio. I left some of the window panes empty so people could look through the window and into the interior of the studio.People could view the art and window and studio from the outside.
